The Medical Education Foundation was born in 2019 with an ambitious goal: to transform healthcare education.

Why? Healthcare is the building block of a society, as anyone who has needed it will know. Education can transform lives, offering a way out of poverty and catalysing social change. A well trained, motivated healthcare workforce is the engine that powers our National Health Service. This should make healthcare education a priority for everyone. Unfortunately, that is not always the case.

 

Training as a healthcare worker is a long and expensive commitment. Applications, examinations and ongoing professional development can be challenging and many don't know where to find support. Courses and resources are often priced at a level which exclude the financially disadvantaged.

We want to change this and we need your help. We have grown fast in just a few months. We've taught over 1000 people and obtained formal registeration as a charity in the United Kingdom.

 

Donate, spread the word, attend events. Anything you can do to support the Foundation will contribute to the advance of free and widely accessible healthcare education.
